Sorry to not have this updated as often as I imagined it would be. It has taken a few weeks more than I thought it would to get a summer schedule down, and we still don't have it running very smoothly. Plus - I admit that it took me a while to figure out how to get this Blog thing working the way it should - I think I finally have it down now!
The older boys are somewhat enjoying the summer - the weather hasn't been cooperating, and Mom has had her hands to full with Dallen and Elise to take them to the pool everyday. They have had to settle with finding fun things to do at home, and enjoying the outings to the zoo. They are playing some fun games outside with just the 3 1/2 of them - baseball, flag football, kickball and golf seem to be the favorites.
Elise is growing so fast! She has started to smile and babble. It is fun to sit and "chat" with her. She gets very excited when her brothers come around to play with her - both her arms and legs are going as fast as they can! They like the fact that she is doing more than just sleeping, and love to try to make her "squeak" the loudest.
The weather has been a little scary here and there - but at least we aren't flooding away or being hit by a tornado (yet). It has opened our eyes a little more, and since then we have gone through our 72 hour kits and made some improvements.
Hope all is going well in your world!
